Overview of
Food and Drink and Mealtimes
This CD covers the food and drink vocabulary for breakfast, lunch and snacktime, telling the time, days of the week and festivals. Games and worksheets practise the language structures for asking for quantities and expressing likes and dislikes. Children will enjoy the varied role-playing activities and games which range from buying bread and croissants at the bakery to ordering drinks, pizza and ice-cream in a cafe. The illustrated printable/viewable story "Nico et le chaton" is set in a bakery and re-inforces some of the vocabulary and language structure of the topic.
